Act of Remembrance

The Mayor of Southwark, Cllr Tayo Situ, together with representatives from the embassies of several former Soviet republics, British Second World War veterans and other individuals and organisations supporting the SMTF will lay wreaths at the Soviet War Memorial during an Act of Remembrance.
The short ceremony will include brief addresses from key participants, the sounding of the Last Post and a two minute silence.
Followed at 2pm by the The Movement for the Abolition of War's annual Remembrance Sunday lecture.
