Longlunch with United Visual Artists
The graphic and digital design lecture series LongLunch makes a welcome return to the Design Museum to host a talk by Matt Clark of United Visual Artists. Clark is Creative Director of UVA, the British-based collective whose current practice spans permanent architectural installation, live performance and responsive installation.
Explorative and pioneering projects include: 'Chorus' commissioned by Opera North & awarded a distinction in Prix Ars Electronica 2010, 'Constellation' the 2008 responsive lighting installation in the market hall at Covent Garden, and 'Volume' the 2006 luminous interactive installation as seen at the V&A and also nominated in the Brit Insurance Designs of the Year 2008.
