Flat Iron Square at the junction of Union Street and Southwark Bridge Road has been reopened after five months of work to create a more pedestrian-friendly environment.
The London Fire Brigade this week commemorated the 150th anniversary of the outbreak of the Great Fire of Tooley Street which burned for two weeks in 1861.
