The 'Waka on the Thames' was organised as part of the City of London Festival which this year has a focus on Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Next Monday Australia's foremost didjeridu player, William Barton, joins the choir of Southwark Cathedral in the European premiere of a new version of Peter Sculthorpe's Requiem.
