Dreadful - don't bother
The food is very expensive & very bland. £3 for prawn crackers? I don't think so! The dim sum was only 3 dumplings per portion @£3.55 which is not good value for money. The "healthy" stir fried noodles were swimming in grease - not recommended.

Dimsum is for brunch & should never be served after 4pm in a proper Chinese restaurant. The only positive was the amazing view of City Hall & Tower Bridge. Suggest you just visit DimT for a cocktail and avoid the food.

Food is good and so is the staff
My husband and myself go often there after a walk or bike tour or just beeing lazy to cook.
The Dim Sums are delicious and the soup also. The staff is always very friendly and helpfull. We will definitively return as we did in the past.
Awful, awful place
Don't waste your time. Despite the mixed reviews on here and Toptable, I thought I'd give it a go.

Waste of time, effort and money. Service especially was APPALLING. Stick to Ping Pong even if it is that wee bit further in Waterloo - it is worth the 15 minute walk.

Ordinary
We dined there the other night, 4 of us. We were sat upstairs, which was full of diners. There were two waiters for an incredibly busy evening. Suffice it to say that the service was rubbish, the food very ordinary and quite pricey for what you get. We didn't pay the service charge.
Disappointing
I was disappointed with the food on my inaugral visit
The restaurant lokked like a clone of Busaba E Thai, but the food was light years away.
Service was slow, and the dishes I chose were drab and tasteless,I wish it had been better as we could do with a decent asian restaurant.
Not too hot!
The food at Dim T doesnt excite. all very standard pan-asian fare. flavors are subdued and spices dumbed down for UK tastes. all 3 of our main courses were on the tepid side....not cooked to order maybe? the decor is lovely on the other hand but you cant eat it! service leaves a lot to be desired. initialy good but desert had to be ordered at the bar counter as nooone came to take our order and we got impatient. for an asian restaurant all the staff appeared to be eastern europeans learning their craft. prices are reasonable £25 each including wine. Wagamama is better.
Good value and no pushy waiters/waitresses
Good value for money, and nice food. For two of us including a bottle of wine the bill came to £35. The waiter came to check on us every now and then, but did not push us to order and gave us all the time we needed to catch up before ordering. Although this could be perceived as slow service, we considered it a major plus not to be harrassed.

All in all certainly worth going to, and I'll certainly be going back.

Value for Money..
The food was very good and service was good until we needed the bill!

7 of us ate had more than enough to eat, also had desserts and 3 bottles of wine and the whole bill was £150, we felt this was extremely good value, especially considering the view you get where others would charge a premium for this.

I will certianly be going back and hopefully get to sit upstairs.

Good Food, Slow Service......
Food was really nice, but the service needs improvement. Waited about 20 minutes for our order was taken, then about 25 minutes for food.
