A guided walk with John Constable through the back-streets of The Borough, from the Marshalsea Prison to 'Nancy's Steps', exploring Charles Dickens' childhood encounter with the Victorian underworld.
The walk is led by local writer and performer John Constable and features in his book Secret Bankside - Walks In The Outlaw Borough.
A new production of The Southwark Mysteries, Constable's contemporary mystery play inspired by the history of this area, is planned for 2010.
Walk lasts approx 90 mins.
