The Mayor of Southwark, diplomats from the embassies of the CIS countries, veterans and supporters of the Soviet War Memorial will be present at this act of remembrance and wreath-laying ceremony.
The event at the Soviet War Memorial will be preceded by an 11am ceremony inside the Imperial War Museum. And, at 2.30pm, the Movement for the Abolition of War’s Annual Peace Lecture will take place in the IWM Cinema (admission free).
