The actors from Pinkalicious The Musical sang a number from the colourful Waterloo East Theatre show outside Cubana in Lower Marsh shortly after they lit up one of Waterloo Quarter BID's Christmas trees in nearby Baylis Road.

The festive event was designed to showcase the variety of interesting shops in Waterloo. Many retailers ran stalls, stayed open late and offered discounts on the evening.

Other attractions on the night included a snow machine outside Waterloo Action Centre as well as a Mother Christmas stilt walker accompanied by a balloon modelling elf.

The event took place days after festive street lights paid for by the BID were switched on across Waterloo.
