Singing River launches Royal Festival Hall Overture weekend

A barge carrying 300 singers from Tower Bridge to Festival Pier marked the start of a weekend of free events to celebrate the refurbished Royal Festival Hall.

Lottery offers free taxi rides on South Bank and Bankside

Five cabbies will be offering free rides from locations including the Globe and the Royal Festival Hall as part of a drive to raise awareness of National Lottery Good Causes.
