14-storey 'Music Box' tower on Union Street approved

Plans for a 14-storey tower in Union Street, including 55 homes and new premises for the London Centre of Contemporary Music, have been approved by Southwark councillors.

Monthly printed what's on guide 'in SE1' to cease publication

The publishers of 'in SE1' – the monthly local printed what's on guide – have announced that issue 193, for July 2014, will be the last. The London SE1 community website is unaffected by this decision.
