On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 May the charity is staging its tallest sponsored abseil down Guy's Tower at Guy's Hospital.

There are fantastic views from the top of the tower. A team of professional abseilers will guide participants down and full training will be given on the day.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for you to impress your friends and family with your bravery while raising vital funds for people with muscle disease," says Rupa-Dey Amin from the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.

"There is currently no cure, so for every 100 you raise, we'll be able to fund over three hours in the research lab looking for an effective treatment or cure, or pay for a session with a specialist care adviser who will provide practical and emotional support following diagnosis. Events like this one are essential for us to raise the money that makes a difference to the lives of people living with muscle disease. So go on – have a go!"

Places are going fast, so if you want to take part call Rupa-Dey on 020 7819 1860 or email
