Harry Potter stars release 1,000 balloons from Millennium Bridge
Harry Potter movie stars Evanna Lynch and Matthew Lewis released a thousand balloons from the Millennium Bridge on Thursday to promote a DVD launch.
The Millennium Bridge – which features in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince – was the setting for the promotional stunt to mark the start of pre-orders for the DVD release.
Evanna Lynch (who plays Luna Lovegood) and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) were surrounded by dozens of bemused tourists during the photo opportunity.
Each of the 1,000 balloons has a card attached which carries a code which will entitle the holder to register for entry into a grand draw to win a day on the film set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on 7 December.
