17-year-old youth from SE1 charged with David Maxwell murder

A second person has been charged with a murder of a teenager in Pilgrimage Street in October.

A 17-year-old youth from Southwark SE1 appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates' Court on Saturday 15 November, charged with the murder of David Maxwell.

He was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday 18 November.

Maxwell, aged 18, was stabbed to death in Pilgrimage Street on Friday 31 October.

20-year-old Ronnie Atuqiya of Dagenham appeared in custody at the Old Bailey on 7 November charged with the murder of David Maxwell.

Both Atuqiya and the unnamed youth have been remanded in custody to appear for a plea and case management hearing at the Old Bailey on 23 January 2015.
